Full description
A dog walked after dark is invisible to traffic the moment the pavement runs out of streetlight, and a lead with its own light source removes that risk without relying on a separate torch or clip-on light that can fall off.
Kowloon's flashing lead is USB rechargeable, with three light modes — fast, slow and continuous — and Kowloon state a battery life of over 5 hours on flashing mode and over 3 hours on continuous. The strap itself is heavy-duty nylon, rated to a maximum tension capacity of 120kg, aimed at strong pullers as much as at visibility.
- USB rechargeable, cable included
- Three light modes: fast, slow, continuous
- Flashing mode: over 5 hours battery life
- Continuous mode: over 3 hours battery life
- Maximum tension capacity: 120kg
- Nylon construction
One thing worth knowing. The product's own name and its maker description disagree on the colour — the listing title says orange, while the written description calls it grey — so we can't confirm which is correct from the information we hold, and would treat the colour as unconfirmed until it arrives.
Who it's for: owners walking a strong-pulling dog in low light who want a lead with genuine tension capacity and its own lighting, rather than relying on a separate clip-on light.

Why we chose it
A lead with a proper stated tension rating is worth more to us than one that just looks heavy-duty, especially for a dog that actually pulls hard. USB rechargeable lighting is also the more sensible long-term option over disposable batteries in something you'll be charging regularly anyway.
