Enrichment toys get bought with good intentions and then left in a drawer the first time they're fiddly to fill or clean, which is why the appeal of a flat mat is that there's nothing to assemble and nothing but a hand-wash afterwards.

It's a slow-feeder lick mat in food-safe TPR with a criss-cross texture, built for spreading soft foods like yoghurt, purées or wet food across the surface rather than into a bowl. LickiMat market it as calming enrichment, saying the licking action can help reduce anxiety and boredom. It's 20 x 20cm, hand washable, and safe in the freezer or microwave.

A word about the name. 'Guava' describes the mat's colour, not a scent or flavour — LickiMat supply no information suggesting the mat itself carries any smell or taste. As with any lick mat, their advice for a teething puppy or heavy chewer is to use it alongside their Keeper accessory rather than on its own.

Who it's for: owners wanting a low-effort enrichment option for mealtimes or a frozen treat, without extra parts to assemble or lose.
