Full description
Thick food stays in a maze differently from runny food, so the pattern on a licking mat shapes the activity.
The LickiMat Buddy is a textured surface that holds food across a cross-maze pattern, making the animal lick around the shape rather than taking the food in one mouthful. The supplied information lists it for dogs and cats; the documented material is non-toxic food-grade TPR, and it is hand washable.
- Buddy cross-maze surface
- Suitable for dogs and cats
- Material: non-toxic food-grade TPR
- Care: hand washable
- Available as multiple sizes and colours
A practical limitation. Supervision is required during the first uses until the owner is satisfied the animal will not chew the mat. The family varies in size, care and material, so check the selected variant rather than assuming every option is identical.
Who it's for: owners of dogs and cats who want a cross-maze surface for soft, wet or spreadable food and can supervise its introduction.

Why we chose it
The cross-maze pattern is the reason to pick the Buddy. It gives food somewhere to sit across the surface, while the stated hand washable care explains the clean-up.
