Full description

Cats that eat too fast are prone to being sick shortly afterwards, which is the practical reason lick mats exist at all rather than just being a novelty shape to put food on.

This is a heart-shaped lick mat in purple, sold as a single mat. No material, suction-base confirmation or dishwasher-safe claim has been supplied for it.

Heart-shaped lick mat
Colour: purple
Sold as a single mat
No material or care instructions are supplied

what the makers have not told us. There's no material, suction-base confirmation or dishwasher-safe claim for this mat — spread something safe for cats on it and wash it by hand until you know otherwise, rather than assuming it goes in a dishwasher.

Who it's for: owners of a cat that eats too quickly, wanting a simple lick mat to slow mealtimes down rather than a plain bowl.

Why we chose it

A lick mat is a cheap way to slow down a cat that bolts its food, and the heart shape is no more than that — a shape. We don't have a material spec to add, so treat it as a straightforward accessory rather than a heavily engineered one.
