Collars are sized by the neck girth — the measurement around the base of the neck where the collar will sit.
How to measure
- Wrap a soft tape around the base of the neck.
- Add room for two fingers between the tape and the neck.
- Use that measurement to pick a size whose range it falls within.
| Size | Typical neck girth | Rough guide |
|---|---|---|
| XS | 20–28 cm | Toy breeds, kittens |
| S | 26–36 cm | Small dogs |
| M | 34–48 cm | Medium dogs |
| L | 46–60 cm | Large dogs |
| XL | 58–72 cm | Giant breeds |
Ranges are approximate and vary by style. Always check this product’s Specifications for its exact measurements.

Full description
Reflective strips only work when somebody points a light at them. On a footpath with no street lighting, or a common at four in the afternoon in December, there is no headlight to bounce back, and a black or brindle dog twenty metres ahead of you simply is not there. A collar that makes its own light is visible from every angle, to cyclists coming up behind you as well as to cars.
This one is built from ABS and PVC with a milky white diffuser, which matters more than it sounds: without a diffuser you see a row of separate dots, and with one you see a continuous glowing ring that reads as a dog rather than as an unidentified flicker. The colourful setting cycles through shades, so it is also an easy way to tell your dog apart from the other three lit-up dogs at the field on a winter evening.
- ABS and PVC construction
- Milky white diffuser for an even glow rather than visible dots
- Colourful, colour-changing light
- Supplied as collar x 1
- Choice of blister box or OPP bag packaging
- 195g listed weight
Who it's for: owners of black, brindle or dark brown dogs walking unlit lanes and commons through the winter, and anyone whose dog goes off lead in the last half hour of daylight.
