These are chicken bars — 78% chicken with 12% dried carrot — sold as a pack of 7. They're calorie-dense compared with most training treats, at 386 kcal per 100g, and Hollings label them gluten free, though there's corn starch in the mix as a binder.

On "100% gluten free." That claim is consistent with the ingredients — no wheat, barley or rye on the list — but it isn't a grain-free bar, because corn starch is in there too. More importantly: Hollings' own feeding guidance says these are not suitable for puppies, dogs with poor teeth, or elderly dogs, which rules out a good few dogs that training treats usually go to.
