Full description
Giving a cat two things to do with one toy — carry the fish, bat the tin — covers more play styles than a single plush shape does, especially once catnip is added to make either half worth returning to.
Hemm & Boo's Sardine & Tin Cat Toy pairs a plush fish measuring 13cm with a soft sardine tin measuring 12.5cm, both infused with catnip. The materials are soft plush fabric, gentle on paws and teeth, and light enough for a cat to carry around the house.
- Plush fish: 13cm
- Soft sardine tin: 12.5cm
- Both pieces catnip-infused
- Soft plush fabric, gentle on paws and teeth
- Lightweight, easy for a cat to carry
One thing worth knowing. This toy is sold across a range of colours — Blue, Orange and Pink — but the information we hold doesn't specify which single colour this exact listing is, or whether it arrives assorted. Worth bearing in mind if the colour matters to you.
Who it's for: cat owners wanting a catnip toy that offers two different textures and play styles in one set, rather than a single plush shape.

Why we chose it
Two pieces rather than one means a cat that loses interest in carrying the fish still has the tin to bat around, which gets more mileage out of a single purchase. Catnip in both halves rather than just one is the detail that keeps it interesting longer.
