A dog that backs out of a collar the moment it's startled needs something that can't be slipped, which is the entire case for a slip lead over a collar-and-lead combination.
This one combines the collar and lead into a single soft-touch rope, 1.4cm thick and 150cm long, that slips over the dog's head and tightens to hold - but only up to a point, because Hemm & Boo fit a metal slider specifically to stop it choking the dog by over-tightening.
