Hot weather changes what animals need day to day more than most owners think about, and a mineral supplement that's traditionally reached for specifically in warm months is a good sign of that.

This is rock sulphur, a natural mineral product, traditionally added to a pet's drinking water in hot weather. Hatchwells' guidance is that the natural minerals disperse into the water to help keep pets cooler, and it may also help improve skin condition. It's suitable for all animals.

• Natural rock sulphur mineral
• Traditionally used in hot weather
• Added directly to drinking water
• Said to help keep pets cooler as minerals disperse
• May help improve skin condition
• Suitable for all animals

One thing worth knowing. This is a traditional remedy rather than one backed by a stated dose, ingredient percentage or clinical claim on the card — Hatchwells don't give a quantity to add per bowl of water, so there's no precise measurement to pass on here.

Who it's for: owners looking for a traditional, simple mineral addition to drinking water during hot weather, for any animal.
