Full description
A ball on its own rolls away from a dog after every throw; tie it to a rope and it becomes something you can drag, tug and reset without chasing it across the garden. That is really the whole appeal of a rope ball over a plain one.
This is Happy Pet's Ropeball — a rubber ball made from natural rubber, attached securely to a length of rope, and built for repeat retrieval rather than a single afternoon. This listing covers more than one size; the size confirmed to us is 33.5cm.
- Natural rubber ball attached to rope
- Built for retrieval training or general play
- Confirmed size: 33.5cm
- Packed weight 0.4kg
- Rope handle suits tug play as well as throwing
A gap in the label. This page covers two sizes of Ropeball, but the makers only confirm the measurement for one of them — 33.5cm. If you are choosing between sizes, go by whichever your dog's current toys are closest to rather than assuming both options are similar.
Who it's for: owners doing retrieval training, or anyone who wants a toy sturdy enough for tug as well as fetch.

Why we chose it
Rope and rubber is a durable pairing for a toy that gets thrown and dragged rather than just chewed, which is what makes it worth stocking over a plain rubber ball. It does two jobs — fetch and tug — rather than one.
