Full description
A lead used every day, in every weather, wears out fastest at the handle, and a stiff nylon grip is what most owners end up complaining about long before the webbing itself gives way.
Halti's Walking Lead is built with a neoprene-lined handle for comfort, described as easy to clean, alongside high-grade nylon webbing for strength. It carries a reflective 3M Scotchlite strip for visibility in low light, runs 1.2m long at 25mm width, and is designed for daily use by dog owners, including puppies.
- 1.2m long, 25mm width
- Neoprene-lined handle, easy-clean
- High-grade nylon webbing
- Reflective 3M Scotchlite strip for visibility
- Designed for daily use
On the weight limit. Halti give the length, width and handle material but not a maximum dog weight or breaking strain on this card, so match the lead to your dog's size using the webbing width and your own judgement rather than a stated limit.
Who it's for: owners walking a dog daily, in low light as well as daylight, who want a comfortable handle and genuine visibility rather than a plain nylon lead.

Why we chose it
A neoprene handle actually matters on a lead you're holding every day, in a way it doesn't on one used occasionally — a stiff nylon grip gets uncomfortable fast. The reflective strip is also a real safety feature for anyone walking before or after work in winter, not just a decorative stripe.
