A headcollar that comes off mid-walk is worse than not using one at all, because it usually happens at the exact moment a dog lunges. The Halti Link exists purely to stop that: a short connector between the headcollar and the collar underneath, so if the headcollar slips, the dog is still attached to you by the collar.

It is a simple, single-size spare part rather than a headcollar itself, sold on its own for anyone who already owns a Halti and wants the backup connection.

• Attaches a Halti headcollar to the dog's own collar
• Acts as a backup if the headcollar comes loose
• Reduces the chance of an anxious or boisterous dog removing the headcollar entirely
• Sold as a single spare link
• One size

Worth knowing before you buy. The card gives us no material, length or weight for the link itself, so we cannot tell you exactly what it is made from or how it fastens at each end. It is described as simple, which is presumably the point.

Who it's for: existing Halti headcollar owners who want the extra security of a backup connection, particularly with a dog that has a habit of pawing the headcollar off.
