How to measure
- Width: lighter, narrower webbing for small dogs; wider, thicker webbing for strong pullers and larger dogs.
- Standard lead (1.2–1.5 m): everyday pavement walks and training.
- Long line (3–10 m): recall practice and open spaces.
- Short / traffic lead (under 1 m): close control in busy areas.

A single lead does two different jobs depending on the dog on the other end of it — clipped short for a boisterous puller working through training, or let out long for a relaxed stroll — and most leads only do one of those well.
Halti's Double Ended Lead is designed for that range: usable for road walking, relaxed walks, training, or managing larger, more boisterous dogs, and it also works for walking two dogs at once. It's part of the wider HALTI Walking range, made with two-tone premium webbing and reflective weave for visibility, and it's machine washable.
