Full description

Treat names sometimes borrow from a dish rather than describing the recipe underneath, and this one does exactly that - it takes its shape and idea from a festive favourite rather than claiming the pork content matches the name. The recipe itself is a genuine three-meat blend.

Chicken breast leads at 49%, with duck breast and pork each at 15%, alongside vegetable glycerin, corn starch and pea protein. They are wheat free, roasted in their own juices, and not suitable for puppies under 4 months old.

What "pigs in blankets" actually means. The name describes the shape and idea of the treat rather than the ingredient split - chicken breast is the largest single component at 49%, with duck and pork each at 15%. It is a genuine three-meat treat, just not pork-led despite the name.

Who it's for: dogs over 4 months old who enjoy a soft, three-meat treat, and owners who want a wheat-free option for sensitive stomachs.

Good Boy Pigs in Blankets

Why we chose it

Three named meats in one treat is more variety than most, and being wheat-free makes it a safer bet for the dogs we know react to cereal fillers. We would rather explain the 'pigs in blankets' name honestly than let it suggest a pork content the recipe does not actually have.
