Full description

"Mega" on a chew's name usually means size, but the number worth checking is the protein figure, and this one genuinely backs the name up on that front too.

This is a rawhide-based chewy twist wrapped with duck breast (41% of the recipe), and Good Boy's analysis puts crude protein at a high 77%, with fat at just 2%. It's grain-free and free from gluten, wheat and cereal.

70G pack
Duck breast 41%, wrapped around rawhide
Crude protein 77%, fat 2%
Grain, gluten, wheat and cereal free
Chewy texture, aimed at supporting dental hygiene through chewing

On rawhide. This is a rawhide-based chew - the duck coating is the flavour, but rawhide is the structure underneath it. If your dog has ever had trouble with rawhide specifically, that's worth knowing before this one rather than after.

Who it's for: dogs without a rawhide sensitivity who want a long, chewy treat with real duck content and no grain, gluten or wheat.

Good Boy Mega Chewy Twist Duck

Why we chose it

Seventy-seven percent protein against 2% fat is one of the better ratios in the whole Good Boy range, and being free of grain, gluten, wheat and cereal covers most of the common sensitivities in one go. It's a genuinely long-lasting chew rather than something gone in one bite.
