Full description

Crunch and bone shapes catch attention; the chicken and calcium proportions explain what the treat actually contains.

The label classifies Good Boy Crunchy Chicken & Calcium Bones as complementary food. Chicken breast is 51% and calcium carbonate 8.7%. Corn starch, rice flour, potato starch, glycerin, gelatin, vegetable oil and salt are also declared. Protein is 22%, fat 1.5%, ash 13.4%, fibre 1% and moisture 16%. The pack carries a separate composition and analysis, allowing the named meat to be compared with the full recipe. This food is an extra within the dog’s diet, not a complete meal. The analysis helps compare recipes, while portion, age and supervision decisions remain limited to the instructions that are genuinely present on this particular label.

Why we chose it

The separately stated chicken and calcium-carbonate percentages make this more than a bone-shaped novelty. Its supervision and puppy limits are equally important to show.
