Full description

A treat that lists vegetables by name and by percentage is telling you more than one that just says "with vegetables" on the front, and it's worth checking the number rather than taking the claim at face value.

Here, chicken breast makes up 61% of the recipe, with broccoli and sweet potato each at 4%. Good Boy confirm the recipe is wheat-free, and their analysis gives crude protein at 35% and fat at 2.6%.

100G pack
Chicken breast 61%, broccoli 4%, sweet potato 4%
Crude protein 35%, fat 2.6%, fibre 1%, ash 3%
Wheat-free recipe
Low in fat

On the vegetable content. Broccoli and sweet potato are each 4% of this recipe - genuinely present, but a small slice of the whole treat rather than a major ingredient. Chicken is still doing most of the work at 61%.

Who it's for: owners who want a wheat-free chicken treat with some real vegetable content, in a larger 100G pack than some of the smaller sticks in this range.

Good Boy Chicken with Brocoli & Sweet Potato Sticks

Why we chose it

Wheat-free matters for a few dogs with sensitivities, and this is one of the few sticks in the Good Boy range that states it outright rather than leaving it to be worked out from the ingredient list. It's also sold in a genuinely larger 100G pack than several of the smaller sticks in the same range.
