Full description

A dog that gets the same treat every day stops treating it as special, which is the practical case for a variety box over a single repeated chew.

This pack contains six different chicken treats, each with its own recipe: Chicken Twists (chicken breast 60%, rawhide 33%), Chicken Strips Standard (chicken breast 78%), Chewy Chicken Dumbbells (chicken breast 54%, rawhide), Crunchy Chicken with Rice Bones (chicken breast 65%, rice 21%), Chicken Fillets (chicken breast 90%) and Crunchy Chicken Calcium Bones (chicken breast 57%, calcium carbonate 5%). Protein varies a lot by type - from 30% in the Crunchy Chicken Calcium Bones up to 76% in the Chicken Twists - because a rawhide-wrapped twist and a nearly pure fillet are very different treats sharing one box.

Six treat types: Twists, Strips, Dumbbells, Rice Bones, Fillets and Calcium Bones
Chicken breast content ranges from 54% to 90% depending on type
Protein ranges from 30% (Calcium Bones) to 76% (Twists) across the box
Not suitable for puppies under 4 months old
To be given under supervision, on a non-stainable surface

On the variety. Because each of the six treats has a different composition and protein level, this isn't one recipe in six shapes - if your dog has a sensitivity to rawhide specifically, note that the Twists and Dumbbells contain it while the Chicken Fillets (90% chicken breast) do not.

Who it's for: owners who like giving a dog a different treat rather than the same one every time, and whose dog isn't restricted to one specific recipe or texture.

Good Boy Chewy Chicken Variety Pack

Why we chose it

A variety box does the job of six different bags of treats without asking a customer to commit to six different bags, which is the whole appeal for anyone who isn't sure what their dog prefers yet. Chicken breast is the named ingredient across every recipe in the box rather than one flavour riding on the others' reputation.
