Full description

A dumbbell shape gives a dog two ends to work on rather than one, which tends to keep a chew occupying them longer than a straight stick shape would. Good Boy's Chewy Chicken Dumbbell pairs that shape with a genuinely high chicken content.

The recipe is 54% chicken breast wrapped around rawhide, with tapioca starch, pea protein and sticky rice powder. That gives a crude protein figure of 49%, with fat kept low at 1%. It's a wheat-free recipe.

Chicken breast 54%, rawhide core
Crude protein 49%, fat content 1%
Wheat-free recipe
Not suitable for puppies under 4 months
350G pack

One thing worth knowing. Like any rawhide-centred chew, this carries a genuine choking or blockage risk if swallowed in large pieces rather than worked through gradually — Good Boy's own guidance is to feed it under supervision, on a surface that won't stain.

Who it's for: owners of an adult dog (over 4 months) who want a longer-lasting chew shape with real chicken content, given under supervision rather than left unattended.

Good Boy Chewy Chicken Dumbbell

Why we chose it

A dumbbell shape genuinely does give a dog longer to work at than a straight chew stick. The chicken content here is also high enough that it isn't just flavouring on a plain rawhide base.
