A good bed lets your pet stretch out and curl up. Measure your pet nose-to-tail while they’re lying down, then add room to move.

How to measure

Measure your pet from nose to base of tail while lying relaxed.
Add roughly 15–25 cm so they can stretch out fully.
For pets that like to curl, you can size down slightly for a snug, den-like feel.

Full description

Some cats and small dogs never settle properly on an open bed. They want walls, a roof and one way in, because an enclosed space is where a small animal feels safe enough to fall properly asleep. That is what this dome is for. The sides block draughts at floor level, a breathable mesh window keeps air moving through so it does not turn stuffy inside, and a small play ball comes with it for the moments between naps.

The cushion inside lifts out, which matters more than it sounds. A bed that cannot be washed becomes a bed nobody wants to sit near after a few months, and an enclosed bed holds smell far more than a flat mat does. The whole thing packs down to a parcel only a few centimetres deep, so it can be moved between rooms, taken to a relative's house, or put away over summer without a fight.
