Hover to zoomSize guide & how to measure
A good bed lets your pet stretch out and curl up. Measure your pet nose-to-tail while they’re lying down, then add room to move.
How to measure
- Measure your pet from nose to base of tail while lying relaxed.
- Add roughly 15–25 cm so they can stretch out fully.
- For pets that like to curl, you can size down slightly for a snug, den-like feel.
| Size | Typical internal length | Rough guide |
|---|---|---|
| S | up to ~50 cm | Cats, toy & small breeds |
| M | ~50–70 cm | Small–medium dogs |
| L | ~70–90 cm | Medium–large dogs |
| XL | 90 cm + | Large & giant breeds |

Full description
Cats scratch when they wake up, which is the single reason a post in another room never gets used. Putting the bed and the post together works with that habit rather than against it: the cat stretches out of the den, finds sisal directly above where they were sleeping, and the arm of the sofa stops being the nearest suitable surface. It is a small piece of furniture, and it reads as one.
The frame is solid wood rather than particle board wrapped in carpet, which is what keeps a unit this size stable when a cat lands on it at speed and what stops it sagging in a damp utility room. The curved roof is wrapped in sisal, so the scratching surface is the structure itself rather than something bolted on, and a curtain across the entrance gives the den below the dark, half-hidden feel that persuades cats to use it.
- Solid wood frame
- Sisal-wrapped curved roof for scratching
- Curtained entrance to the den below
- Cushioned base inside the den
- Two sizes, small and large
- Two finishes, yellow and green
One thing worth knowing. No external dimensions are published either. Tell us your cat and we will measure a unit before it ships; cats who sleep flat out will use the roof more than the den.
Who it's for: Indoor cats who need a scratching surface exactly where they wake up, in homes with no room for a full cat tree.

Why we chose it
Cats scratch the moment they wake, which is why a post in another room never gets used. Put the sisal directly above the den and the arm of the sofa stops being the nearest option. Reads as furniture, not a cat tree.
