A good bed lets your pet stretch out and curl up. Measure your pet nose-to-tail while they’re lying down, then add room to move.

How to measure

Measure your pet from nose to base of tail while lying relaxed.
Add roughly 15–25 cm so they can stretch out fully.
For pets that like to curl, you can size down slightly for a snug, den-like feel.

Most cat beds are an eyesore you put up with. A wooden box with cat-ear cutouts is a piece of furniture that happens to be a bed, and in a small flat where your things and the cat's things share the same room, that difference is worth rather more than it sounds. It reads as a side table with a cat in it.

The frame is solid wood, which is breathable and stays cool through summer, and it takes a soft cushion for the colder half of the year, so one bed covers all four seasons. It stacks: buy more than one and they build upwards into a tower, which is how you get a second and third resting spot out of the same square metre of floor. Three front styles are offered.
