Full description

Catnip in a treat name can mean an added flavour rather than a declared amount of catnip plant, so the additive line matters here.

Dreamies with Irresistible Catnip Flavour are cat treats in a 350G pack. The composition lists cereals first, followed by derivatives of vegetable origin, oils and fats, meat and animal derivatives, vegetable protein extracts and minerals. Catnip flavour is declared as a sensory additive at 11.9mg per kilogram; the composition does not state a percentage of catnip plant.

Read “catnip flavour” literally. The evidence identifies a flavour additive, not a declared catnip-plant percentage. It also does not state whether this product is complete or complementary food. Feed no more than 20 pieces daily to an adult cat or six pieces to a kitten, reduce the main meal accordingly and keep fresh drinking water available.

Who it's for: owners looking for a larger pack of catnip-flavour treats and who want the flavour declaration, energy value and daily caps stated clearly.
