Full description

Three flavour cues in one Shakeups pouch are best understood through the separate sensory-additive amounts rather than an assumed meat content.

Dreamies Shakeups Rockin’ Roost are complementary cat treats in a 55G pack for adults and kittens. The composition begins with cereals, followed by meat and animal derivatives, oils and fats, vegetable protein extracts, minerals and derivatives of vegetable origin. It does not declare chicken or duck meat percentages. Sensory additives provide 4.1mg/kg chicken flavour, 1.4mg/kg duck flavour and 11.1mg/kg catnip flavour. Analysis is 22% protein, 22% fat, 8% inorganic matter and 1.5% crude fibre, with energy at 414kcal per 100g.

55G Shakeups pack
Complementary treat
Chicken flavour: 4.1mg/kg
Duck flavour: 1.4mg/kg
Catnip flavour: 11.1mg/kg

These are flavour declarations, not named-meat percentages. The composition uses the broad term meat and animal derivatives without quantifying chicken or duck. Adult cats may have up to 22 pieces daily. The kitten limit is up to 13 pieces and applies only to kittens weighing 2kg or more. Reduce the main meal accordingly and always provide fresh water.

Who it's for: owners seeking a mixed chicken, duck and catnip flavour treat, particularly those who want the different Shakeups feeding limits stated accurately.

Why we chose it

All three flavour additives are individually quantified, giving the mix real label context. The 2kg minimum attached to the kitten allowance is a valuable limit that should remain prominent.
