Full description

A tuna-flavour name does not necessarily mean a declared tuna-meat percentage, which makes the sensory-additive wording particularly relevant for this pouch.

Dreamies Cat Treats with Tuna are complementary treats in a 60G pack for adult cats and kittens. The composition lists cereals, derivatives of vegetable origin, oils and fats, meat and animal derivatives, vegetable protein extracts and minerals. It does not give a tuna-meat percentage. Tuna flavour is declared among the sensory additives at 0.51mg per kilogram. Analytical constituents are 22% protein, 22% fat, 8% inorganic matter and 2% crude fibre, and energy is 416kcal per 100g.

Tuna flavour is the evidenced tuna detail. The composition does not declare tuna meat or a tuna percentage, so this should not be presented as a tuna-rich treat. Feed adults up to 20 pieces per day and kittens up to six, reduce the main meal accordingly and provide fresh drinking water. Complementary food is intended to be fed alongside, rather than in place of, the main diet.

Who it's for: shoppers seeking a small complementary tuna-flavour treat pouch who value a clear distinction between flavour additive and named fish content.
