Full description

Cheese flavour can be expressed in several ways on a label, and this recipe helpfully states both the powder amount and its cheese equivalent.

Dreamies Cat Treats with Cheese are complementary treats in a 60G pack for adult cats and kittens. The recipe lists cereals first and includes milk and milk derivatives. Dried cheese powder is declared at 2.1%, equivalent to 4% cheese. Derivatives of vegetable origin, oils and fats, meat and animal derivatives, vegetable protein extracts and minerals are also listed. Analysis gives 22% protein, 22% fat, 8% inorganic matter and 2% crude fibre, with 416kcal per 100g.

Keep both cheese figures in context. The recipe contains 2.1% dried cheese powder, described as equivalent to 4% cheese, and cereals lead the ingredient list. These are treats rather than a main meal. Feed up to 20 pieces daily to an adult or six to a kitten, reduce the main meal accordingly and ensure fresh water is always available.

Who it's for: people choosing a complementary cheese treat and wanting the cheese declaration, analytical values and maximum daily count made explicit.

The dual cheese declaration provides more substance than the flavour name alone. The exact feeding cap and energy value make it easier to account for treats within the day.
