Full description
The difference between a lead you can hold and one you cannot is usually the handle rather than the line. A flat webbing loop turns into a cutting edge across the palm the instant a dog lunges, whereas a round rope with foam through the handle spreads that same force over a much larger area of hand. If your dog pulls at all, that is the detail that decides whether a walk is pleasant.
The lead is round braided rope rather than flat webbing. Round rope keeps its shape under load, does not twist itself into a ribbon, and gives your hand a proper cylinder to close around, which is a far stronger grip than pinching at a flat strap. The handle is padded so you can take a lean without it biting in. Eight colourways are available, from black and red through to avocado green and mango yellow.
