Full description
A collar spends every hour of every day against the same narrow strip of skin, so what it is lined with matters rather more than what it looks like. Velvet is unusually kind in that respect: the pile lies flat under a dog's coat and does not saw at the throat the way a cheap nylon edge can. The rose-gold hardware is what people notice; the fabric is what your dog notices.
The buckle is a quick-release type in a matching rose-gold finish, so it comes off with a pinch rather than by threading a prong through a hole, and a D-ring in the same finish carries the lead and an identity tag. It is a smart collar that is still built for daily use, and the listed weight range of 64g to 180g across the size run tells you the hardware scales with the size rather than staying the same throughout.
