On the fat content. At 26.1% fat and 383kcal per 100g, this is a genuinely rich treat - worth factoring into a dog's daily treat allowance if you're feeding several a day, particularly for a dog prone to weight gain.

Who it's for: owners of dogs from 16 weeks old who want a salmon-based treat, and are comfortable with a richer, higher-fat option than a leaner alternative.

Denzel's Salmon & Cranberry High Value Rewards for Dogs

Why we chose it

Salmon is a genuinely different protein to have in rotation, useful for dogs sensitive to poultry. It's also the honest thing to flag that this is a rich treat rather than a lean one, and we'd rather say so plainly than let the fat figure sit quietly in the small print.
