A dental chew that has to be given every day only earns that place in the routine if a dog actually wants to eat it, which is presumably why so many of them lean on peanut butter — one of the more reliably popular flavours going.

This one is built from potato flakes, glycerine and tapioca starch, with organic peanut butter at 4%, plus organic peppermint and parsley each at 0.5% and activated charcoal for the "pearly white" claim. It's entirely plant-based, with no animal ingredient anywhere in the composition.

• Vegan: no animal ingredient in the recipe
• Organic peanut butter (4%), peppermint and parsley (0.5% each), activated charcoal
• Crude protein 5%, crude fibre 5%, crude fat 2.9%, crude ash 1.4%
• Grain and gluten free
• 5 chews per pack, each approximately 11.5cm long
• 100G pack, plastic-free packaging

What the label does not say. No specific daily feeding guidance beyond "daily" is given on this card — Denzel's own instruction is one chew a day for the best results, but there's no dog-weight table, so use your judgement on frequency for a smaller dog against a larger one.

Who it's for: owners of a dog on a vegan diet, or simply looking for a plant-based daily dental option, particularly one that likes peanut butter enough to actually chew it rather than abandon it.
