Every recipe starts with a hydrolysed protein, which is protein broken down into small fragments. That is what makes these smell strong enough to change a dog's mind about a bowl they had walked away from. Two of the four, the chicken ones, also carry poultry fat, sugars and the antioxidants BHA and propyl gallate. The fish and the duck recipes are noticeably shorter lists with neither.

Two of the four contain BHA and propyl gallate, and two do not. Those are synthetic antioxidants that appear in the chicken and beetroot and the plain chicken sachets but not in the fish or duck ones. If you avoid BHA, this box is not for you, and the difference is only visible if you read all four compositions rather than one.
