Full description

The smaller the treat, the easier it is to use for training rather than just spoiling a dog, and this line goes further than most on that front.

Denzel's make these from freshly prepared duck (70%), potato, plum (4%), carrot and fermented whey, air-dried in Ireland. The manufacturer's own count is approximately 70 little gems per pack, which is a genuinely small-format treat, aimed particularly at small and toy breeds from 16 weeks old.

70G pack, approximately 70 little gems
Duck 70%, plum 4%
Crude protein 25.7%, fat 15.3%, fibre 0.6%, ash 5.3%
339kcal per 100g
100% plastic-free packaging
Aimed at small and toy breeds, from 16 weeks old

On breed size. Denzel's specifically flag this one for small and toy breeds, which lines up with the small individual treat size (about 70 to a 70G bag) - a bigger dog will get through a bag much faster proportionally than a small one will.

Who it's for: owners of small or toy breed dogs from 16 weeks old who want a genuinely small, high-meat air-dried treat for training or reward.

Denzel's Duck & Plum High Value Rewards for Dogs

Why we chose it

Seventy treats in a small bag is the reason to pick this over a bigger stick-format treat if you have a small dog - it's genuinely portioned for them rather than needing to be broken up. Duck at 70% also suits dogs that don't get on with chicken or beef-based treats.
