Full description

A treat named for two ingredients sometimes only delivers one, and it's worth checking which before assuming both are actually in the bag.

Cotswold Raw's Lamb and Tripe is air-dried, and the composition we hold lists it as 100% lamb — tripe doesn't appear as a separate ingredient on the card, despite the name. The analysis is protein 63%, fat 18%, ash 6%, fibre 8%, moisture 6%, which is a high-protein, air-dried treat regardless of what's actually in it.

Composition given as 100% lamb
Protein 63%, fat 18%, ash 6%, fibre 8%, moisture 6%

On the name. "Lamb and Tripe" suggests both ingredients are present, but the composition we hold is listed simply as 100% lamb, with no tripe named separately. If tripe content specifically is what you're after, this card doesn't confirm it's in there — worth checking with us or the pack itself before buying for that reason.

Who it's for: owners after a single-ingredient, air-dried lamb chew, rather than anyone specifically wanting tripe.

Cotswold Raw Lamb and Tripe

Why we chose it

The gap between the name and the composition needed saying plainly rather than left for a customer to notice after opening the bag. At 63% protein it still holds up as a straightforward air-dried lamb treat on its own merits.
