Full description

Dogs left with something to gnaw on quietly are dogs not gnawing on the furniture, and a single-ingredient dried chew is one of the simplest ways to buy that half hour - no flavouring, no filler, just the one thing named on the bag.

This is 100% beef, air-dried, with nothing else added. It runs notably higher in ash - inorganic mineral matter - than most air-dried treats, at 29%, which fits with tendon being mostly collagen and connective tissue rather than muscle meat.

100% beef, air-dried

No additives, gluten-free
Single ingredient, nothing else added
250G bag

On the high ash figure. At 29%, the ash content here is well above what you'd see on a muscle-meat treat - consistent with tendon being connective tissue rather than meat - but Cotswold Raw don't publish a mineral breakdown beyond the total ash figure, so it isn't possible to say from the label exactly what's driving it.

Who it's for: owners looking for a single-ingredient chew that keeps a dog occupied for a while, rather than a training treat meant to be eaten in one bite.

Cotswold Raw Beef Tendon

Why we chose it

This is about as close to a one-ingredient treat as the shelf gets - just beef, air-dried, nothing else on the label. If you want to know exactly what you're handing over, there's nothing else on the bag to read.
