Full description

A treat that still has bone in it changes the conversation from "snack" to "how it gets chewed," and that's worth knowing before it lands in a bowl unsupervised for the first time.

This is 100% beef, air-dried, and Cotswold Raw's own description notes it contains soft bone - unlike some of their boneless dried treats. Protein runs high at 51%, with fat at 15% and an elevated ash content of 22%, in keeping with a treat built from a bonier cut.

100% beef, air-dried, contains soft bone
Protein 51%, fat 15%, ash 22%, fibre 2%, moisture 10%
No additives, gluten-free
250G bag

On the bone content. Cotswold Raw's own description notes this contains soft bone, which sets it apart from some of their other dried treats. That is worth supervising the first few times rather than leaving a small or enthusiastic dog alone with it, since a bone-in chew carries a different risk in the mouth to a pure muscle-meat strip.

Who it's for: owners of dogs already used to bone-in chews who want a single-ingredient beef treat rather than a muscle-meat-only option.

Cotswold Raw Beef Tails Dog Treats

Why we chose it

This is the one to reach for over Cotswold's other beef treats if you specifically want something with bone in it - most of their range is boneless muscle meat. It's still just the one ingredient, so there's nothing else to check on the label.
