Full description

Some chews are gone in a minute and some make a dog work for it, and the difference usually comes down to which part of the animal it's cut from — a paddywack, the ligament running along the spine, sits at the tougher end of that scale.

Cotswold's Beef Paddywack is 100% beef, air-dried with no additives, and gluten-free. The analysis is protein 76%, fat 11%, ash 2%, fibre 1%, moisture 10% — a genuinely high-protein, long-lasting chew.

What's not on the card. There's no chew duration, age guidance or supervision note supplied for this specific product, so treat it the way you would any tough air-dried chew — supervised, and not left with a determined chewer unattended.

Who it's for: owners of a dog that gets through softer chews too quickly, wanting something tougher and longer-lasting from a single ingredient.

Cotswold Beef Paddywack

Why we chose it

At 76% protein and air-dried rather than processed, this is about as straightforward a long-lasting chew as the shelf offers. It's worth stocking specifically for dogs that make short work of the softer treats nearby.
