A shape with more than one limb gives a cat more places to bite and kick at once, which is closer to how they'd actually dismantle prey than a single-piece toy allows.

Oli Octopus contains catnip and crinkle material inside an octopus-shaped body with multiple legs, weighing 0.22kg. It's on the heavier side of Coolpet's character range, in line with the seahorse shape sold alongside it.

On the legs. Coolpet don't say how the legs are attached or reinforced, and a multi-limbed toy gives a determined cat several separate points to work loose rather than one — worth checking stitching periodically rather than assuming it's as durable as a single-piece shape.

Who it's for: cats that like to grab and kick with their back legs, since a multi-limbed toy gives them more to hold onto while doing it.
