Full description
A real hedgehog is the last thing you'd want a cat pouncing on, so making a soft one out of fabric is the safe way to let a cat act out the instinct anyway.
Henrietta Hedgehog is a plush toy containing catnip and crinkle material rather than anything resembling actual spines. It's one of Coolpet's character range and weighs 0.17kg, on the heavier side of the range.
- Hedgehog shape in soft plush fabric
- Contains catnip and crinkle material
- Weighs 0.17kg
- Sold as a single toy
- Supervised use recommended, with packaging removed before play
On the name. There's nothing spiky about it — Henrietta is soft plush fabric throughout, and Coolpet don't describe any textured or bristled section standing in for hedgehog spines, so don't expect a scratchy texture along with the shape.
Who it's for: cats that respond to catnip and crinkle sound, and owners choosing a character shape mostly for its own appeal rather than any specific play feature.

Why we chose it
It's on the heavier end of Coolpet's character range at 0.17kg, which gives it a bit more presence than the lighter mouse and owl shapes sold alongside it. Beyond that, it's the same catnip-and-crinkle formula that runs through the whole line.
