Full description
A cat scratching the sofa isn't being destructive for the sake of it — it's maintaining its claws and marking territory, and the only real fix is giving it something it prefers to scratch instead.
Classic's Wavy scratcher is a cardboard scratching surface in an ergonomic curved shape, measuring 44 x 21 x 5.5cm, and comes with a bag of catnip to encourage first use.

On how long it lasts. Classic don't give a weight limit or a lifespan for the cardboard, and like any cardboard scratcher it will wear down with use — how quickly depends entirely on your cat, so treat it as a consumable rather than a one-off buy.
Who it's for: cat owners looking for a compact scratcher for a smaller space, or a second scratching point away from a cat tree.

Why we chose it
Cardboard is genuinely what most cats prefer to scratch, catnip or not, so this is a straightforward buy rather than a gimmick. At 44 x 21 x 5.5cm it's small enough to tuck into a spot a bigger scratching post wouldn't fit.
