Full description

Puppies chew on everything within reach partly because it's how they explore the world and partly because it soothes teething gums, which is exactly the itch a textured chew toy is meant to scratch.

This tug combines vinyl with a rope tug end, with a pimpled vinyl mid-section that Classic say gently massages the gums during chewing. It's specially developed for puppies and smaller dogs, and it is sold individually: the price shown is for one toy.

Why we chose it

It's specifically built for puppies and smaller dogs rather than a scaled-down version of an adult toy, and the rope-plus-vinyl combination gives a teething puppy two different textures to work through. We're flagging the maker's own size confusion rather than picking a number and hoping it's right.
