Classic Highstand

A single stand is the one people overlook and often the one they want. Twin stands assume food and water side by side, and plenty of households would rather keep the water somewhere else entirely — near the back door, in another room, or simply not next to a bowl that gets pushed around at dinner time.

This one is 300mm high in black enamelled metal, on a strong tubular frame with black non-slip feet, and it holds a single stainless steel dish of 1.6 litres. Stainless is what you want in a food bowl for unglamorous reasons: it does not absorb food odours, it resists the scratching that harbours bacteria, and it goes in the dishwasher. The dish lifts straight out, and the stand and dish arrive together in a display box.

Fixed height, so measure the dog first. 300mm does not adjust. Measure floor to chest and choose a bowl height below that rather than above — too high is worse than too low. And the caveat worth repeating on any raised feeder: it is commonly recommended for larger and older dogs, and it has also been questioned in deep-chested breeds, so if bloat runs in your dog's breed it is a conversation to have with your vet before switching.
