Full description

Seasonal packaging does not change a treat’s role in the diet, so the meat percentage and feeding limit deserve more attention than the Christmas theme. This turkey jerky supplies both.

Turkey is 68%, followed by pea protein powder and vegetable glycerine derived from rapeseed oil. Pumpkin seeds, distilled white vinegar, dried cranberries at 0.3%, cinnamon at 0.1% and thyme complete the composition. The 70G jerky is a complementary dog treat suitable from 4 months. The manufacturer states up to 5 a day. Analysis gives 32% protein, 22% fat, 3% ash, 2% fibre, 24% moisture and 375 kcal/100g. The recipe is described as grain free.

Keep the seasonal treat inside the daily allowance. The stated maximum is 5 a day, and these pieces are complementary rather than complete food. Cranberry and cinnamon are present only at the declared small percentages, so the main ingredient story remains turkey rather than a broad festive blend.

Who it's for: dogs from 4 months whose owners want a turkey-led jerky treat and will follow the stated daily limit alongside complete food.

Christmas Lily's Kitchen Festive Turkey Jerky

Why we chose it

Turkey at 68% gives this festive bag substance beyond its seasonal presentation. I chose it because the age suitability and up-to-5-a-day instruction make the buying and feeding boundaries unusually clear for a Christmas treat.
