A chew built from collagen rather than hide behaves differently once a dog has been working on it for a while, because the material itself is being broken down rather than simply softened.

Chewllagen rolls are made from the collagen extracted from South American grass-fed cattle hide, hydrolysed and broken into smaller, more digestible molecules, then shaped, baked to a bread-like texture and dipped in real beef. The maker's own claim is that the collagen — mainly type 1 and type 3 — supports cartilage and joint comfort and general gut health, alongside the usual dental benefit of a long chew.

What the label does not say. No analytical percentage breakdown or feeding guidance is published for this product, so there is no protein or fat figure to quote, and no stated age restriction. The collagen and joint-support claims are the manufacturer's own description of the ingredient rather than anything independently measured on this listing.

Who it's for: owners wanting a rawhide-free chew with a genuinely different base material, particularly for a dog that has struggled with rawhide before.
