The distinction between this hammock and the other cotton-linen version we stock is simple, and worth saying plainly: this one comes in a single cat-print finish rather than a choice of five. If that print is the one you want, the decision is already made for you. If it is not, the multi-colour listing gives you more to choose between at the same price.

Underneath the print, the idea is the same. A cotton-linen blend breathes, so it stays noticeably cooler through summer than a padded fleece bed, and adjustable carabiner straps let it hang from cage bars, a crate frame or the legs of a dining chair. The straps adjust individually, so the bed can be levelled on furniture that is not square and set at whatever height suits your cat best.

• Cotton-linen blend fabric
• Soft cat-print finish, single design
• Adjustable carabiner straps
• Hangs from cages, crates or household furniture
• Breathable alternative to a padded bed
• Lifts the cat above draughts and floor traffic

On measurements: no panel size and no weight limit are given for this one either, and we are not going to invent either figure. As a rule of thumb, a fabric sling suits an average adult cat rather than a very large or heavy one, and whatever you clip it to needs to be steady enough to take a landing.

Who it's for: Cat owners who want this particular cat print and a breathable, clip-on perch that keeps their cat above the floor.
