A cat will pick a sunny windowsill over any bed you buy for them, and most windowsills are too narrow to lie down on properly. Suction cups are only as good as the glass. They hold on clean, smooth, flat panes and lose grip on textured, frosted or dusty glass, in cold weather, and anywhere condensation forms. Clean the glass with something that leaves no film, press each cup home hard, and check them weekly. If your windows are frosted or leaded, buy a bracket-mounted perch instead.
