How to measure

Measure your pet from nose to base of tail while lying relaxed.
Add roughly 15–25 cm so they can stretch out fully.
For pets that like to curl, you can size down slightly for a snug, den-like feel.

Long-haired cats, elderly cats and cats who occasionally have accidents are hard on soft beds, because fabric absorbs everything and then needs a wash it may not survive. A wipe-clean surface changes the whole calculation. This sofa-style bed is covered in waterproof faux leather with raised bolster sides, so spills sit on the surface and lift off with a cloth instead of soaking down into the filling.

The bolsters run around the back and sides in the shape of a small sofa, giving a cat something to rest a chin and a spine against, and most cats sleep pressed into an edge rather than out in the open. The base is cushioned underneath, which helps an older cat with stiff joints get up and down without landing on a hard floor. Two sizes are offered, 55x45 cm and 80x55 cm, in black, white or light grey.

Two corrections worth making. Faux leather is wipe-clean rather than breathable, and it is not a machine-washable cover, so do not buy it expecting a soft fabric bed that goes through a cycle. It can also be scratched by claws, so a cat who kneads hard before settling will mark it in time. The upside is that fur brushes straight off it.
