Small pets that are mostly active at night don't care what colour their bedding is, but they do spend a lot of the day breathing right down in it - which is why what it's made from matters more than the colour on the front of the bag.

This is made from 100% reclaimed natural fibre, using tissue and paper manufacturing off-cuts and kiln-dried Western Hemlock, Spruce, Douglas Fir and Pine wood, coloured with pet-safe dyes similar to those used in bath and facial tissue, with no harsh chemicals added. Carefresh's instruction is to apply 2-6 inches to the enclosure.
