Fireworks night, a car journey, or being left home alone all put the same kind of pressure on a dog that finds it hard to settle, and it's rarely one single trigger that needs addressing so much as a general tendency towards tension. Bugalugs formulate this powder to work on that general state rather than one specific event.

It combines natural amino acids and vitamins, aimed at encouraging calmer behaviour and helping a dog manage stress and nervousness generally, rather than sedating them. Bugalugs position it as a complementary supplement for nervous or anxious dogs, and specifically mention separation anxiety, travel and fireworks as situations owners commonly reach for it in.

• Natural amino acid and vitamin blend
• Aimed at nervous and anxious dogs
• Supports relaxation and calmer behaviour
• Named uses: separation anxiety, travel, fireworks
• 80G pack

On dosage. This is a complementary supplement, not a veterinary medicine, and Bugalugs don't publish a dosage rate on this card - follow the pack instructions and speak to your vet first if your dog's anxiety is severe or affecting their day-to-day life, rather than relying on a supplement alone.

Who it's for: owners of a generally nervous or easily unsettled dog, particularly around fireworks, travel or time alone, who want a supplement to support calmer behaviour rather than a prescription sedative.
