A dog's skin reacts to everything from grass seeds to a too-long walk in the sun, and most of those minor irritations don't need a vet visit, just something to take the edge off while they settle on their own.

This is a 99% pure aloe vera gel, fragrance free, with added vitamins A, B, C and E and natural antioxidants. Bugalugs describe it as suited to stings, insect bites, minor cuts and general after-sun care, formulated for all skin types including dry and damaged skin.

On what it isn't. This is a soothing gel, not a treatment for broken skin, a wound that won't close, or a rash that's spreading — those need a vet. Bugalugs give no guidance here on how often to apply it or how long one bottle should last with regular use.

Who it's for: owners keeping something on hand for the everyday minor stuff — a scrape, a bite, skin left dry after a lot of time outside — rather than for a diagnosed skin condition.
