Full description

A slightly smaller knot suits a dog that finds the largest size in a range more chew than they actually need, without changing anything else about what they are getting.

This is the 8.5-inch version of the Bestpets rawhide knot, sold individually: the price shown is for one chew. The analytical panel is the same across the range: over 71% protein, under 2.2% fat, under 0.5% fibre and under 1% ash.

Protein over 71%
Fat under 2.2%, fibre under 0.5%, ash under 1%
Sold individually: one chew per item

What the label does not say. No minimum age, feeding frequency or weight-per-piece figure is published. The same knot is also sold at 10 and 6.5 inches, so this sits in the middle of the size range rather than at either end.

Who it's for: owners of a medium-sized dog for whom the 10-inch knot is more than needed.

Why we chose it

The middle size of the range is often the one that fits the most dogs, and it saves a customer buying the largest size by default when it is not what their dog actually needs. Ten to a pack keeps the cost sensible either way.
